Who am I?
I am a health psychologist and sexologist who is deaf and a sign language user. I grew up in a very diverse family environment, with my parents, brother, and uncle being deaf and deafblind. Learning about diversity and specific needs has provided me with a wide range of experience and knowledge.
The combination of my own experience and my background in psychology allows me to offer a more humanistic approach. Psychology has always been a field of great interest to me, especially the functioning and behaviour of the human brain as it responds to new stimuli.
I believe that offering an accessible and professional service is more necessary now than ever. Having sign language sessions will allow deaf and deafblind people to access all the necessary information, and thus be able to engage and thrive in any context in today's world. This way, the knowledge of emotions and the behaviour of the human brain can be fully accessed.
